On 28 May 2025, Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), welcomed Mr. Chris Carter, Director of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Asia-Pacific Region, and Ms. Natalie Randolph, Senior FAA Representative, Southeast Asia, during their courtesy visit to the CAAT headquarters.
The visit provided an opportunity to exchange views and further strengthen the positive relationship between the two organizations. The FAA representatives also offered guidance to support Thailand’s preparations for the upcoming ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) audit under the Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme – Continuous Monitoring Approach (USOAP CMA), which is scheduled to take place in August 2025.
