CAAT Organizes a Workshop to Establish Operational Direction During the Transition Period of the Director General

On February 9–10, 2025, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) organized a strategic workshop to establish a clear operational direction during the transition of its Director-General. The event was presided over by Air Vice Marshal Narthawuthi Yoothong, representing the Board of Commissioners, alongside Mr. Suttipong Kongpool, the outgoing Director-General, whose tenure will conclude on February 16, 2025. Also in attendance was Air Chief Marshal Manat Chuanaprayoon, who will assume the role on February 17, 2025, along with CAAT executives and relevant officials.

The workshop aimed to ensure the seamless and efficient continuation of CAAT’s operations during the transition period. It was also organized to prevent any impact on the evaluation of Thailand’s civil aviation safety oversight standards while reinforcing the nation’s position as a leader in the global aviation industry. By fostering a smooth transition, CAAT reaffirms its commitment to maintaining regulatory excellence and driving the continued growth of Thailand’s aviation sector.
