Deregistration of Aircraft |
Concerned Regulations
Applicability
According to the Requirement of The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand Issue 23, Clause 11, an application for deregistration can be accepted if the applicant is the Certificate of Registration holder.
For an irrevocable deregistration request, the aircraft owner must submit the application form along with an irrevocable deregistration authorisation, described in the intention letter, from the Certificate of Registration holder.
Required Documentation
1. Intention letter
2. Application for Deregistration of Aircraft (CAAT-AIR-FM-CER-CR-206)
3. Certified true copy of the current Certificate of Registration Note: The original Certificate of Registration must be returned within 30 days after deregistration
4. The ownership identification documentation as follows:

Note :
• If an applicant is unable to submit the required documents within 30 days, CAAT will reject the task and return the application package to the applicant
• The original Certificate of Registration must be returned within 30 days after deregistration
• Nationality and registration marks must be removed from the aircraft
• ELT must be decoded or removed from aircraft
• The applicant who hold Air Operating License must read conditions attached to the license before submit application for deregistration
