CAAT Participates in High-Level Aviation Week in Singapore, Driving Forward AAM Strategy and Regional Aviation Workforce Development

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), led by Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General, participated in the High-Level Aviation Week held in Singapore from 14–17 July 2025. The event brought together senior executives and key stakeholders from global civil aviation authorities and the aviation industry.

The week-long program featured a series of high-profile meetings and discussions, including:

  • Global Aviation and Maritime Symposium
  • Asia-Pacific Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Reference Materials Launch and Roundtable
  • Roundtable on Advancing Sustainable Aviation
  • 3rd Asia-Pacific Summit for Aviation Safety (AP-SAS)
  • ICAO Asia-Pacific Regional Training Symposium

     On this occasion, the Director General of CAAT was invited as a distinguished speaker at the Asia-Pacific AAM Roundtable, where he presented “Blueprint for AAM & UAS Strategy in Thailand” – a strategic framework guiding Thailand’s readiness in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

     Furthermore, on 16 July 2025, the Director General joined the High-Level Panel 2 under the theme “Nurturing the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals – Strategy and Policies” as part of the ICAO Asia-Pacific Regional Training Symposium, where he shared insights and perspectives on human capital development for the future of aviation in the region.

     CAAT’s participation in this global platform highlights Thailand’s commitment to elevating its civil aviation standards in alignment with international practices. It also reinforces CAAT’s role in advancing regional cooperation in key areas such as sustainability, technology, and workforce transformation in the aviation sector.
