The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) hosted the 7th Singapore–Thailand Dialogue on Aviation Cooperation from 4 to 5 June 2025 in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Thailand. This annual dialogue was held under the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) signed by both countries to strengthen bilateral collaboration in the aviation sector.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General of CAAT, and Mr. Han Kok Juan, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). Both leaders reaffirmed their shared vision and strong commitment to elevating aviation standards in line with evolving regional and global developments. Representatives from both authorities, as well as from Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd., were in attendance.
The meeting was structured into five key working groups:
- Aviation Safety Working Group
- Aviation Security Working Group
- Air Transport Working Group
- Air Traffic Management Working Group
- Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Working Group
Each working group focused on the exchange of data, knowledge, and best practices to enhance collaboration in critical areas such as aviation safety, security, air traffic management, and the sustainable development of unmanned aircraft systems.
This dialogue und erscores CAAT’s vital role as a driving force in fostering regional aviation cooperation. It also highlights the enduring partnership between Thailand and Singapore in advancing a safe, efficient, and forward-looking aviation industry for the benefit of the wider region.
