CAAT promotes the culture of safety occurrence reporting among CNS service providers

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), through the Air Navigation Services Standards Division, organized a seminar on “Effective Safety Occurrence Reporting for AEROTHAI CNS Services” on 6 October 2025 at the CAAT Headquarters, with participation both onsite and via online platforms.

The seminar aimed to enhance understanding of the Safety Occurrence Reporting process among CNS (Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance) service providers. It focused on improving knowledge of how to prepare Initial Reports and Final Reports, as well as on methods for problem analysis, root cause identification, and preventive actions.

Subject Matter Experts from the Safety and Inspection Standards Department were also invited to share their expertise, providing in-depth insights into report development and safety data analysis. The ultimate goal is to promote the preparation of high-quality safety reports that can contribute effectively to the enhancement of the national safety database.

CAAT hopes that this seminar will serve as another important step toward strengthening cooperation and promoting awareness of safety occurrence reporting among CNS service providers, helping to ensure that Thailand’s civil aviation services continue to meet international standards and achieve the highest level of safety.
