On 22 October 2025, Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), presented the certificate of registration as a Training Service Provider to DGP Training Co., Ltd., certification number DGCT.0002.
DGP Training has been officially approved by CAAT to provide Dangerous Goods training programs and competency-based assessments (CBTA) for individuals and organizations involved in air transport of dangerous goods, in accordance with the international standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
DGP Training Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Triple i Logistics Public Co., Ltd., a fully integrated logistics provider offering international and domestic transportation by air, sea, and land, as well as customs brokerage, warehousing, and supply chain management services. Triple i Logistics has extensive expertise in handling chemical and hazardous materials transport, ensuring compliance with international safety and regulatory standards in air transport.
Furthermore, DGP Training has established an academic collaboration with DG Training Pte Ltd, Singapore, an internationally recognized training organization certified with the IATA CBTA Excellence Certification. This partnership aims to jointly develop training programs, prepare course approval documentation, and provide academic and instructor support to enhance the quality of training in alignment with global aviation standards.
At present, DGP Training has launched its first CAAT-approved course: CBTA 7.1 – Personnel Responsible for Preparing Dangerous Goods Consignments (Approval No. CAAT-DGT-DPT-2501)
This course is designed for:
• Shippers
• Freight Forwarders authorized to act on behalf of shippers
• Operators or entities involved in the transport of dangerous goods by air
• Personnel responsible for packing or preparing documentation related to dangerous goods consignments
Meanwhile, the CBTA 7.3 – Personnel Responsible for Processing or Accepting Dangerous Goods Consignments course is currently under the CAAT approval process and will be available soon.
The certification granted by CAAT underscores the Authority’s role in promoting international standards in aviation personnel training through the Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) framework. This approach emphasizes the development of real-world competencies to ensure safety, efficiency, and sustainability in Thailand’s air transport operations.
