Bangkok, November 10, 2025 Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), together with Mr. Chanin Kanhirun, Civil Aviation Board Member and the Civil Aviation Board Advisor to the Board of Commissioners, welcomed and held discussions with executives from Boeing, led by Ms. Penny Burtt, President of Boeing Southeast Asia, along with other senior Boeing executives.
The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration to support Thailand’s aviation ecosystem, covering key areas such as:
Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) development
Training and workshops to build aviation workforce capability
Support for airline fleet expansion
Enhancing aviation safety and security
Both parties exchanged views on future cooperation to promote a sustainable and competitive aviation industry in Thailand and the wider region.
