Director General of CAAT Participates in Singapore Airshow 2026

February 3, 2026, Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), together with the Thai delegation—including Air Chief Marshal Wachirapon Muangnoi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, and Air Chief Marshal Seksun Chaiyamart, Deputy Chief of Defence Forces—participated in the Singapore Airshow 2026, one of the world’s leading international aviation exhibitions. During the event, the delegation visited exhibition booths of leading aviation service providers and attended flight demonstrations alongside representatives from various countries.

CAAT’s participation in the Singapore Airshow 2026 provided valuable opportunities to strengthen cooperation networks with the aviation industry and relevant stakeholders, as well as to exchange policy and technical perspectives. It also enabled CAAT to gain insights into the latest aviation technologies and innovations, which can be applied to enhance Thailand’s aviation policies and regulatory oversight in line with global developments.

Furthermore, the knowledge and experience gained from the Singapore Airshow 2026 support Thailand’s national strategy to develop the country as a regional Aviation Hub and contribute to the continued advancement of international cooperation in the aviation sector.
