On February 3, 2026, Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), together with Mr. Thaleingsak Phathong, Executive Vice President (Provincial Air Navigation Services), and Mr. Suttisak Theptakob, Chief of Operations, Bangkok Terminal Control Center, Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd. (AEROTHAI), visited the Thales exhibition booth during their participation in the Singapore Airshow 2026, held in the Republic of Singapore.
During the visit, the CAAT and AEROTHAI delegation received briefings on modern aviation technologies and innovations, with particular focus on Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems, aviation safety and security support solutions, as well as the application of digital technologies and innovative tools to enhance the efficiency of civil aviation oversight and operations.
The visit provided an opportunity for policy and technical exchanges with a leading global technology provider, contributing valuable insights for the development and modernization of Thailand’s civil aviation system. These exchanges support alignment with international standards and strengthen Thailand’s capability in advancing towards a sustainable regional aviation hub.
