CAAT Welcomes Delegation from the Department of Rail Transport for a Study Visit on Complaint Management Operations 

On 31 March 2026, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), through its Aviation Service Center (ASC), welcomed a delegation from the Department of Rail Transport (DRT) on the occasion of a study visit to observe CAAT’s operations related to complaint management and passenger rights protection. 

The visit aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices on workflows, operational procedures, and complaint handling mechanisms within transport regulatory authorities, which will support DRT in enhancing its own complaint management and grievance handling manual. 

During the visit, ASC presented an overview of its complaint handling process, coordination mechanisms with relevant divisions, and the use of digital tools and systems to improve service delivery and public responsiveness. 

CAAT remains committed to promoting inter-agency cooperation and strengthening service standards to better protect transport users across all sectors.
