{"id":190603,"date":"2025-11-11T08:46:25","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T01:46:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.caat.or.th\/?post_type=caat_media&#038;p=190603"},"modified":"2025-11-11T10:00:34","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T03:00:34","slug":"190603","status":"publish","type":"caat_media","link":"https:\/\/www.caat.or.th\/en\/caat-media\/190603\/","title":{"rendered":"CAAT Provides Guidance to MCAA Mongolia in Preparation for Upcoming ICAO and FAA Audits"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Bangkok, November 10, 2025 \u2014 Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), together with Mr. Kajonpat Maklin, Deputy Director General for Safety Oversight, and a team of CAAT executives and experts, warmly welcomed Mr. Altangerel Enkhtur, General Manager of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia (MCAA), and his delegation of senior officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting aimed to seek technical advice and consultation from Thailand on preparations for the upcoming Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP) by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MCAA requested guidance from CAAT following Thailand\u2019s recent ICAO audit, in which CAAT achieved a highly satisfactory score, reflecting Thailand\u2019s robust and effective aviation safety oversight system that has earned international recognition as a model of excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Mongolia, several other countries \u2014 namely the Philippines, Egypt, and Morocco \u2014 have also expressed their intent to seek technical assistance and knowledge-sharing support from Thailand, recognizing the country\u2019s growing role and capability as a regional leader in aviation safety governance.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, CAAT and MCAA will jointly organize a practical workshop on 14 November 2025, focusing on hands-on exercises related to Protocol Question (PQ) preparation, findings management, and strategies to enhance Effective Implementation (EI) performance.
