The talks were conducted in collaboration with the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) to support the advancement of AAM initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Japanese government has prioritized strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors. JCAB has assigned personnel to support the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in piloting electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft operations. Representatives from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government are responsible for determining test flight routes in coordination with JCAB, initially focusing on routes over water. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government also serves as the public sector representative in promoting knowledge, raising awareness, and fostering social acceptance among residents, while acting as the central agency communicating eVTOL operations to the public across Tokyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skyports and Kanematsu underscored the critical importance of infrastructure development in driving AAM progress, expressing confidence that without dedicated AAM infrastructure, the sector cannot advance.
