This collaboration reflects the vision and perspective of using new aircraft types to advance modern living and air transportation in the near future, in line with global trends in eVTOL (Electrical Vertical Take-Off and Landing) technology, digital airspace management, and smart infrastructure. These developments will lead to sustainable smart transportation connectivity in the future. In Thailand, UAM will play a crucial role in connecting passenger and cargo transportation while reducing land transport congestion in cities. It will also minimize environmental impact and combustion energy use and be useful in various emergency situations that are highly likely in urban areas. It also promotes Thailand&#8217;s image as a regional aviation hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CAAT, as the regulator for both safety and security standards in civil aviation, must be prepared to regulate various standards, including those related to docking systems and vertiports, as well as the safe use of airspace. This includes raising awareness of public safety standards and the use of modern technology, leading to the development of a UAM ecosystem from experimentation to practical implementation. This will have a positive impact on the sustainable development of the low-altitude economy, which is currently attracting global attention, through CAAT-regulated safety standards. The results of these efforts will be used to develop and expand the regulatory framework to suit the rapidly changing technological and social context.
