The visit focused on Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft technology and discussions on approaches to airworthiness certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The visit aimed to exchange information and enhance mutual understanding of the eVTOL airworthiness certification process, as well as to discuss concepts and approaches for eVTOL flight testing and trials planned to be conducted in Thailand. The delegation also received a presentation on Scenario Solutions for the Low-Altitude Economy, providing insights into potential applications of eVTOL technology within the Thai context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the visit, the CAAT delegation was briefed on the airworthiness certification activities between Aerofugia and the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), including regulatory approaches and airworthiness certification standards applicable to eVTOL aircraft. The information will provide valuable input for CAAT in studying and developing appropriate approaches for the recognition and acceptance of relevant standards and certificates, taking into consideration the regulatory framework and operational context of Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This initiative reflects CAAT\u2019s commitment to monitoring and studying emerging aviation technologies under the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ecosystem, while preparing Thailand\u2019s regulatory framework, standards, and oversight processes to support the future introduction of eVTOL aircraft.
