The workshop was presided over by Air Chief Marshal Manat Chavanaprayoon, Director General of CAAT, who delivered opening remarks, provided guidance on the way forward, and participated as a speaker on topics related to strengthening aviation safety coordination mechanisms among State agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop brought together representatives from government agencies involved in aviation, shared airspace operations, and aviation safety management. Participants exchanged information, views, operational perspectives, and experiences to build a common understanding of aviation safety risks that may affect civil aviation, government operations, and the shared use of airspace. The workshop included a presentation on the impact of Global Navigation Satellite System interference (GNSS interference), as well as scenario-based discussions covering GNSS interference, conflict-zone situations that may affect flight routes, and runway incursions. The discussions also focused on practical approaches to coordination, safety information sharing, and systematic joint risk management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This workshop underscored the importance of having clear coordination and safety information-sharing mechanisms to support the identification of emerging risks, enhance situational awareness, exchange lessons learned, and strengthen inter-agency cooperation. These efforts will contribute to improving aviation safety and reducing the likelihood of events that may affect civil aviation operations in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CAAT will use the outcomes of the workshop to further develop a cooperative framework for State aviation safety coordination, in support of Thailand\u2019s State Safety Programme (SSP) and the safe use of shared airspace.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"hero-carousel-with-thumbnail-navigation wp-block-meta-box-hero-carousel-with-thumbnail-navigation\" id=\"mb-block-6d13a3f7-7ebb-47ee-a3c0-c7db67d94802\">\n\t\t\t\t<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Hero Carousel With Thumbnail Navigation.
