Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Canada, hosted a luncheon in honour of Dr. Paisit Herabat, Head of Thailand\u2019s ICAO Council Candidacy Project, together with the CAAT delegation, at the Thai Residence. The delegation was in Canada to attend a meeting of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Air Navigation Commission in Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, the Ambassador and the CAAT delegation discussed Thailand\u2019s preparations for its candidacy for election to the ICAO Council, as well as coordination and cooperation to support the country\u2019s efforts in strengthening its role in the international civil aviation community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thailand\u2019s ICAO Council candidacy forms part of the country\u2019s efforts to enhance its presence and contribution on the global aviation stage, while supporting the development and connectivity of Thailand\u2019s aviation sector and its long-term goal of becoming a regional aviation hub.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"hero-carousel-with-thumbnail-navigation wp-block-meta-box-hero-carousel-with-thumbnail-navigation\" id=\"mb-block-c8d36c2c-ee12-4a1c-b6ca-365a00301b1a\">\n\t\t\t\t<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Hero Carousel With Thumbnail Navigation.
