The participation aimed to strengthen cooperation in aviation medicine with civil aviation authorities and experts from around the world, while facilitating the exchange of knowledge and international best practices. The insights gained will contribute to enhancing Thailand\u2019s aviation medical oversight and promoting sustainable aviation safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ICAM 2026 served as a major international platform bringing together specialists in aviation and space medicine from across the globe. The event incorporated several prominent scientific congresses, including the 72nd International Congress of Aviation and Space Medicine (ICASM), the 9th European Congress of Aerospace Medicine (ECAM), and the 5th Turkish Aerospace Medical Platform Congress (TAMP). These congresses provided opportunities to exchange the latest medical advancements, research findings, technological developments, and approaches to improving international standards in aviation and space medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through its participation, CAAT sought to strengthen both academic and regulatory cooperation with aviation medical authorities and aerospace medicine professionals worldwide. The congress also provided an opportunity to stay informed of emerging scientific and technological developments, which will support the review and enhancement of Thailand\u2019s aviation medical regulations and standards in alignment with international best practices. CAAT representatives will further disseminate the knowledge and experience gained from the congress to aviation medical examiners and relevant personnel, supporting professional development and improving operational effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, CAAT presented Thailand\u2019s capabilities and readiness to host the 75th International Congress of Aviation and Space Medicine (ICASM 2029) to the Executive Committee of the International Academy of Aviation and Space Medicine (IAASM). This presentation provided an important opportunity to showcase Thailand\u2019s capabilities in aviation medicine on the international stage, while promoting academic cooperation and knowledge exchange among experts from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CAAT\u2019s participation in ICAM 2026 reflects its continued commitment to advancing Thailand\u2019s aviation medical standards through professional capacity building, international collaboration, and the integration of medical advancements into regulatory oversight.
