The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand has conducted a Ramp Inspection of foreign operators flying from/to the Kingdom of Thailand on the basis of Chicago convention article 16.
To avoid COVID-19 infection, the ramp inspection procedure has changed temporarily as below.
• Ramp inspectors will conduct ramp inspection at Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) and outside the aircraft. (Essential cases are excepted.)
• Ramp inspectors will require each inspection item, then please show the items at PBB or outside of aircraft (if it is portable).
Note: If it is not portable please explain the reason. (ex. Installed EFB.)
Additionally, CAAT ramp inspectors have personnel protective equipment (wearing a disposable mask, gloves as a minimum) and confirm their health conditions (no symptoms of infections) and their certificate of full-doze vaccination upon briefing.
In any case, if the flight crew finds COVID-19 reaction is positive within 2 weeks from the day of this Ramp Inspection, please contact below.
