Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP)

Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) provides aeronautical information necessary for the safety, regularity and efficiency of international and national air navigation for the entire territory of Thailand and for the airspace over the high seas encompassed by the Bangkok Flight Information Region (FIR) accordance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.

Aeronautical Information Publication of Thailand (AIP – Thailand) published by the CAAT. AIP –Thailand is made up of three parts, namely General (GEN), En-route (ENR) and Aerodromes (AD) and Aeronautical Chart as necessary.

This AIP contains aeronautical information of a permanent nature. Changes of a temporary nature as well as advance information of foreseeable conditions are notified by means of NOTAM and AIP Supplement; changes of a permanent nature are notified through an amendment service, Aeronautical Information of general technical interest or of a purely administrative nature and therefore inappropriate to NOTAM or AIP will be published in Aeronautical Information Circulars (AIC).
