CAAT Hosts the 6th Inspector Attachment Programme (IAP) for ASEAN Regional Inspector Exchange Bangkok, Thailand
October 10-12, 2023 The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) organized the 6th Inspector Attachment Programme (IAP), a forum for exchanging inspection experiences among aviation inspectors from ASEAN countries. The event took place at Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
Mr. Veera Cheevaidsarakul, the Head of Flight Operations Standards Department and Acting Manager of the Flight Operation Division, chaired the event. Representatives from civil aviation authorities of ASEAN member states, who are responsible for aviation safety inspections, as well as CAAT officials, participated in the conference.
The Inspector Attachment Programme (IAP) is a collaborative initiative among ASEAN member states' civil aviation authorities, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand. The primary objectives of this initiative are to discuss inspection standards, exchange information, and engage in practical training in Foreign Air Operators Ramp Inspection to ensure aviation safety and compliance with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.
