Reissuance or Replacement of Certificate of Registration

Concerned Regulations

Applicability

          According to the Requirement of The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand Issue 44, Clause 9, when there is a change in information or rights of aircraft possessors or owners, the Certificate of Registration holder must apply to have the Certificate reissued, by providing evidence and reasons no later than 30 days after any change has been made.

An application for reissuance/replacement of a Certificate of Registration can only be accepted if the applicant is the Certificate of Registration holder.

Where a Certificate of Registration holder requests a replacement Certificate due to loss, damage or information becoming illegible, the holder must submit an application form for a replacement Certificate along with evidence and reasons.

Required Documentation

  1. Intention letter
  2. Application for Replacement Certificate or Reissued Certificate (CAAT-AIR-FM-CER-CR-205)
  3. Certified true copy of the current Certificate of Registration Note: The original Certificate of Registration must be returned within 30 days after the issue of the new Certificate.
  4. Relevant documents for consideration (aircraft bill of sale, aircraft lease agreement, purchase agreement, deed of novation etc.)
  5. The ownership identification documentation as follows:

Process

StepActivities
1     Applicant submits application package to CAAT by EMPIC or to CAAT office
2     CAAT officer verifies application and responds to applicant
3     CAAT officer starts invoice issuance process (Reissuance/Replacement Fee)
4     After applicant completes the payment, applicant must send payment evidence to email: [email protected]
5     CAAT officer prepares documentation for CAAT Management considers application to issue Certificate of Registration (Reissuance/Replacement)
6     CAAT officer notifies applicant of result

Note: 

  1. If an applicant is unable to submit the required documents within 30 days, CAAT will reject the task and return the application package to the applicant.
  2. The original Certificate of Registration must be returned within 30 days after the issue of the new Certificate
