SURVEILLANCE PROGRAM FOR THE YEAR 2026
The CAAT surveillance programme for 2026 will be conducted concurrently with the final year of the TCAR OPS transition period, as Air Operators are required to complete their transition to full compliance by 3 December 2026. During this critical year, surveillance activities will simultaneously verify transition plan implementation and validate readiness for full TCAR OPS compliance with Part DEF, ORO, CAT, SPA and CC. The programme encompasses the implementation of Operations Manuals (Parts A, B, C and D), management systems under ORO.GEN.200, specific approvals under TCAR OPS Part SPA, and training programme transitions. Employing risk-based principles, the CAAT will conduct comprehensive full-scale audits when necessary to ensure thorough validation during this concurrent transition and surveillance period.
Please note that special and no-notice inspections can be scheduled additionally on the basis of safety-related or operational concerns and are subject to approval of CAAT.
Note 1: Should the proposed audit schedule be inconvenient, please contact the CAAT contact person and the Principal Operations Inspector (POI) at the earliest opportunity to propose a reschedule.
Note 2: The password for the Air Operator’s Surveillance Package will be sent directly to your company’s designated point of contact via email.
